The mission of Thompson Valley Ranch is to provide high quality 100% natural grass-fed Angus beef for your family and ours; giving our customers peace of mind in knowing where their beef comes from.

Thompson Valley Ranch uses only high quality Angus cattle in its Natural Grass-fed Beef program. Angus beef is known nation wide for its superior tenderness and rich flavor. Unlike many producers, cattle in our Natural Grass-fed Beef program are all born and raised with Thompson Valley Ranch, not purchased from outside producers. Because we know the cattle for their entire lives we can positively guarantee they have been pasture raised with care, good animal health practices, and have never been treated with hormones or antibiotics. TVR animals enjoy a completely natural diet of fresh grass and clean water from the American and Thompson Valleys. When we say "Grass-fed" we mean 100% Grass-fed and Grass-finished!

Sierra Valley Farms is a 65-acre certified organic farm and native plant nursery situated on the Middle Fork of the Feather River in the majestic Sierra Valley. The farm, located at 5,000 feet elevation, in Beckwourth California, has one of the most unique growing climates in the West. Sierra Valley Farms was first established as a native plant nursery in 1990 and broadened its diversity to growing certified organic produce in 1999. The family farm is owned and operated by Gary, His father, Louis and son, Joey Romano. Sierra Valley Farms diverse operation includes growing and production of native plants, a wide range of cool-season vegetables and some fruits, micro greens, herbs, wasabi, and value-added condiments. The Romanos utilize the natural dynamics of cover crops, rotation of crops, wildlife intrusion, and the four seasons to enhance the already fertile soil. This, along with the cool summer climate produces some of the finest quality organic vegetables in the world. Sierra Valley has one of the harshest climates in the Sierras with winter temperatures of sometimes below zero and only 60-70 frost-free days per year. The summers daily temperatures can fluctuate as much as 50 degrees with morning lows in the 30’s and afternoon as high as the 80’s-90’s. This climate is also perfect for the propagation of Sierra native plants.

Patagonia grew out of a small company that made tools for climbers. Alpinism remains at the heart of a worldwide business that still makes clothes for climbing – as well as for skiing, snowboarding, surfing, fly fishing, paddling and trail running. These are all silent sports. None require a motor; none deliver the cheers of a crowd. In each sport, reward comes in the form of hard-won grace and moments of connection between us and nature.

Our values reflect those of a business started by a band of climbers and surfers, and the minimalist style they promoted. The approach we take towards product design demonstrates a bias for simplicity and utility.

For us at Patagonia, a love of wild and beautiful places demands participation in the fight to save them, and to help reverse the steep decline in the overall environmental health of our planet. We donate our time, services and at least 1% of our sales to hundreds of grassroots environmental groups all over the world who work to help reverse the tide.
